Jeremie Charitable Foundation To Host Big Hats And Bow Tie Luncheon

Special Event Benefitting Revolve: Children’s Creative Camp

Miami, FL. August 2, 2013 — For the past two years, the Jeremie Charitable Foundation (JCF) has donated countless hours and resources to keep the hopes and dreams of Haitian orphans alive. Through charitable donations, over 400 orphans in Jeremie are able to attend school because of JCF. While working with these orphans, the caring staff was thrilled to see these orphans excel academically but noticed that their talents and creativity were not being nurtured. To address this need, JCF will launch the Revolve: Children’s Creative Camp this October. On Saturday, August 10, 2013, the JCF and Sasha Revolus will host the Big Hats and Bow Tie Luncheon to raise funds for the Revolve: Children’s Creative Camp. The luncheon will be held at one of Brickell Miami’s premier restaurants, Perricone’s. This event will have a “southern elegance” atmosphere as ladies are expected to wear big hats, and the gentlemen, bow ties.

“I am extremely excited to get everyone involved and being fashionable while doing so”, said Sasha Revolus, creator of Revolve Children’s Creative Camp. “Haiti is on the verge of major social and political changes and the children of Haiti are the ones who will be living with these changes. Our goal is to improve their educational experience and prepare them for their future.”

Aurore Charles founded the Jeremie Charitable Foundation in 2011. The foundation was created in order to fulfill the educational, physical, and essential needs of the children and community of Jeremie. Revolve: Children’s Creative Camp is JCF’s initiative to nurture children’s talents and creativity in areas including but not limited to art, dance, fashion, and sports.
